During the winter I like to be able to workout in the comfort of my own home. I hate having to trek through the snow to get to the gym (especially with the ridiculous weather we’ve been having). I hate being cold so if I can find an excuse to stay home and workout I will. The other day I was not feeling the need to leave my apartment and so this little gem came about. (Obviously the picture above was recycled from the summer, I figured it would look a lot better then my boring white walled apartment 🙂 )
I have always been a fan of ladder workouts. I like the idea of slowly increasing intensity, hitting a max, then going back down. For some reason in my mind, it makes the workout more doable, but don’t worry, it still shreds the calories! Complete this workout 3 times through for a quick at-home burn.
What you’ll need: A little space and a timer.
Exercises: All can be found in the wonderful workout dictionary, except for the Hesiman jumps .
