I’ll be honest, there are not many things I like about the winter. I am a summer girl through and through, and the appeal of the pretty snow quickly wears off when I realize how damn cold it is. However, there is one thing about winter that I love, and that is Gingerbread. Gingerbread lattes, cookies, bars…literally you could put the word gingerbread in front of anything and I’d love it.
So today I thought I’d round up my five favorite healthy gingerbread recipes I’ve come across so far. Let’s get to it!
No Bake Gingerbread Pumpkin Snow Balls
Lee over at Fit Foodie Finds had an awesome post series called 7 Days of Healthy Holiday Treats. I wish I had enough time to try them all but the one that stuck out in my mind was her No Bake Gingerbread Pumpkin Snow Balls. I think these are just the cutest!

Healthy Chocolate Chip Banana Gingerbread
This is a recipe from yours truly, so it’s been taste tested by not only me, but my picky boyfriend. I loved how moist this turned out, and it doesn’t hurt that it has dark chocolate in it.

Homemade Gingerbread Spice Latte
Even though I wish I could afford a $5 latte from Stabucks everyday, that’s just not realistic. Thankfully Katie, over at Chocolate Covered Katie has a solution.

Chocolate Gingerbread Granola Bars
Did you think I would be able to list out some of my favorite recipes without mentioning Davida? You obviously knew this was coming. Davida was the last Feature Friday, check it out if you missed it. Lately I have been experimenting with making my own bars, and this recipe couldn’t have come at a better time.
